Introducing our proud collection named “Saturn IB” you should not miss.
The Saturn IB was designed to be used for low-Earth orbit missions, such as crewed flights to the Skylab space station and the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project. It was also used for several uncrewed test flights of the Apollo spacecraft, as well as for the Apollo 7 crewed mission. The Saturn IB stood 141 feet (43 meters) tall and was powered by a combination of liquid oxygen and kerosene fuel. It had two stages, with the first stage using eight Rocketdyne H-1 engines, and the second stage using a single Rocketdyne J-2 engine. The rocket was capable of lifting up to 46,000 pounds (21,000 kilograms) into low-Earth orbit.
